Our Story

Austin and Emily’s story began in 2021 at a mutual friend’s wedding. Austin first noticed Emily while she was talking to a friend, and was drawn to her energy and kindness. After introducing himself, they had a brief conversation before going their separate ways. Not long after, the Gaspard brothers organized a trip to a UL football game and invited a group of friends to join. A mutual friend extended the invitation to Emily as well, and by chance, she and Austin ended up sitting next to each other. What started as casual conversation quickly turned into something more—they spent the entire evening talking, laughing, and realizing just how much they had in common. From that night on, they knew their connection was something special. Austin and Emily both have a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a passion for giving back. Both have dedicated much of their free time to volunteering with youth organizations and supporting the communities that helped shape them. Whether spending time in nature, working with local charities, or simply enjoying each other’s company, they have built their relationship on shared values and a commitment to making a difference. Looking ahead, Austin and Emily plan to settle in Kaplan, LA, where they hope to build a home and establish their roots. Their dream is to create a life together in Vermilion Parish, continuing their volunteer work and eventually starting a family in a place that means so much to them. With a strong foundation built on love, service, and adventure, they are excited for all that the future holds.
